The Commit Partnership Dashboard Gallery
- Dallas county and statewide Texas data on key academic milestones deemed critical for students to be on track to economic stability.
- Example indicators include Pre-K enrollment, 3rd grade reading, college, career and military readiness in high school, postsecondary credentials and attainment of a living wage.
- Data presented as interactive dashboards with sources included.
US Department of Education College Scorecard
- Search and compare US colleges: their fields of study, costs, admissions, completion, student debt/repayment and earnings.
- Sample indicators include enrollment, type of institution, graduation rate, earnings by field of study, test scores and acceptance rates for each institution.
- Detailed data glossary available and downloadable files.
Texas CREWS (Texas Consumer Resource for Education and Workforce Statistics)
- Texas CREWS interactive dashboards compare Texas public universities, public colleges, majors and career schools based on graduate wages, student loan levels, graduation rates and more.
- Published by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the data links graduates with wages earned in Texas in the first year after graduation. Updated annually in the fall, the site includes a glossary and downloadable files.
- Example indicators include, average loan amount at graduation, average time to degree, eligible training programs, and median wages.

Healthy North Texas
- A source of regional community health and population data that can be used for community assessment and identifying best practices.
- Indicators are aggregated from multiple sources across five topics; health, community, economy, education and environmental health.
- Example indicators include access to parks, adults with cancer, food environment index, 4th grade reading proficiency. Reports data source, measurement period and level of aggregation.
Places: Local Data for Better Health
- US population health data reported by county, place, census tract and zip code published by the CDC.
- Indicators are estimated using statistical methods for health conditions, behavior and risk factors that have a substantial effect on population health and presented as interactive maps and tables.
- Example indicators include measures of asthma, diabetes, mammography use, smoking and mental health.
County Health Rankings & Roadmaps
- Published by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, it provides a snapshot of the health of every US county.
- Indicators for a wide range of factors including health behaviors, clinical care, social & economic factors and physical environment.
- Example indicators include homeownership, drinking water violations, child care centers, living wage, disconnected youth, access to mental health providers and food insecurity.
- Reports data source, definitions, measurement period and state/national comparison values.

Living Wage Calculator
- Published by MIT, the data is intended to help individuals, communities, employers and others estimate the local wage rate a full-time worker requires to cover the costs of their family’s basic needs where they live.
- Data is available for states, cities, counties and metro areas for wages, typical expenses and typical salaries by occupational area.
- Example indicators include living wage, poverty wage, minimum wage, estimated annual costs for food, child care and housing.

- Hosted by the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce, this website provides a rich array of data, information, and news about Southern Dallas County.
- The Community Profile for Southern Dallas County provides a summary view of metrics related to education, income, employment, and other key data.
- Additional data and information is available as well across categories including connectivity, talent, business, development, living, and community impact.
Opportunity Atlas
- Searchable by address, city or county, the Atlas displays children’s outcomes in adulthood through a series of metrics from household income to college completion rates alongside neighborhood characteristics such as median rents and levels of job growth.
- Outcomes can be disaggregated by different demographic groups including parental income, race or ethnicity or gender.
- The Atlas also includes stories that exemplify how to curate the data to illustrate key insights. Maps can be supplemented by uploading your own boundary map. You can also download the raw data underlying the Atlas.
Urban Institute Mobility Metrics
- Evidence-based predictors strongly correlated with community conditions that boost economic and social mobility covering aspects such as affordable housing to political participation.
- Data are available for counties or cities with populations >75,000. Sample metrics include # of membership associations per 10,000 people, share of 19-20 year olds with a high school degree, % of population with debt in collections, share of voting age population who turn out to vote.
- Includes an extensive Evidence Resource Library about the predictive factors and information about the validity, availability, frequency, geography, consistency, subgroups and limitations of each metric.
